Here you can register your gaming and streaming (ie, TV, Blueray, Roku, AppleTV, Chromecast, etc..) devices on the Westfield State University Network. You are permitted to register 5 devices on the Westfield State University Network. Please e-mail resnet@westfield.ma.edu if you need to remove an old device that is not in use anymore.
Please follow these instructions for a successful registration.
- Plug your device into the network OR associate it with the wifi network using the 'resnet' SSID and perform a network test or start an online game or attempt to stream. It will fail, but it's important you do this step.

Locate the mac address of the console and copy it down.
Please Note: Mac addresses only contain numbers from 0 – 9 and letters from A – F. Also they are in the format of xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx or xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx. - Enter your campus username and password, and the mac address of your device below, select the device type in the pulldown menu, and click on "Register".
- For a device that has both wired and wireless connectivity you will have to repeat this process for both MAC addresses if you wish to have the ability to use the device on the ResNet wireless network or plug directly into the wall.
- If you are unable to get your console to register with this page, please e-mail your MAC Address, device type, and username to resnet@westfield.ma.edu and we will manually register it for you.
